HOW TO USE
1. Press the on/off button;
you will see “188.8” on the display.
This means thermometer is working well and battery full.
At first you will see previous calculated temperature, then 37.0 °C (98.6 °F), and then LO °C (L °F).
Flashing °C (°F) sign means that environmental temperature is higher than 32 °C (89.6 °F).
After that, thermometer will directly display the figure and begin measuring the temperature.
Temperature can be measured orally, axillary, rectally.
How to Replace the Battery:
When the battery is almost exhausted, the following symbol " " will appear in the display
window.
1. Remove the battery cover as shown in the diagram.
2. Use a toothpick or insulated probe to remove the battery. Avoid using sharp metal objects.
3. Insert new battery.
Note: Battery polarity - the battery should be inserted with the positive side (+) facing up and
the negative side (-) facing down.
4. Replace the cover
WARNING: Swallowing a button battery may be fatal
Do not attempt to recharge the battery
Do not dispose of the battery in or near fire as it may explode.
